Night In the Jungle:

Spend the night in a jungle camp nestled in the tropical forest of Hacienda Barú Wildlife Refuge.

Description of the tour
You start with a  hike up to the camp, where you will be able to enjoy the sunset and nature sounds from the camp’s veranda. After a traditional Costa Rican dinner you will go out on a night hike to search for nocturnal creatures. After breakfast in the morning you will take another hike to see some magnificent old rainforest trees, and then make your way back down to reception at around 10am.

A change of clothes, personal items, water bottle for the hike up and a flashlight, hiking shoes, repellent,  rain coat (rainy season).

Night Nature walk with Doc Frog


Join one of the most profilic Neotropical Herpetologists, Searching  for the amazing nocturnal fauna.You will find different species of frogs (poison frogs, tree-frogs,glassfrogs and rainfrogs) Lizards and snakes and a variety  of invertebrates (insects like katidids,mantids,stick-insects and brightly colored bugs.Also is possible to  watch  some nocturnal birds.
